Laser Welding

LaserGT delivers a patented gas-free laser welding solution for selected industrial applications where lower heat input, cleaner welds and reduced post-processing matter.

Built for production environments where distortion, grinding, post-processing and workflow inefficiency create hidden cost around the weld.

Particularly relevant for thin sheet metal, stainless steel and precision fabrication environments where heat distortion and post-processing drive unnecessary production cost.

The world’s first gas-free laser welding solution, built for selected industrial applications where lower heat input, cleaner welds and reduced post-processing matter.

When the real cost sits around the weld

Traditional welding can create heat distortion, grinding, post-processing and gas logistics. For selected production and repair applications, laser welding can improve control and reduce the work around the weld.

In many fabrication environments, the real cost is not only the weld itself — but the labor, distortion correction, grinding and production disruption created around it.

The goal is not only to improve the weld itself — but to reduce the production burden created around the weld.

  • Lower heat input

  • Less distortion

  • Cleaner welds

  • Less grinding

  • Reduced post-processing

  • No external gas cylinder logistics

  • Reduced rework

  • Improved production flow

  • Reduced thermal burden on thin materials

  • Less straightening and correction work

  • Reduced spatter and cleaner weld zones

Integrated gas handling. Cleaner execution.

The LaserGT welding solution is built around integrated gas-free operation designed to eliminate external shielding gas cylinders on selected applications, simplifying workflow and reducing gas handling complexity.

Particularly relevant for thin sheet metal, stainless steel and precision fabrication environments where finish quality, thermal control and reduced post-processing are critical.

Where it Fits

Built for Qualified Industrial use

Laser beam welding is an established and recognized welding process within European and international industrial qualification frameworks. The process is designed for controlled industrial qualification — not experimental demonstration use.

Laser welding applications must be qualified based on material, thickness, joint type, acceptance criteria and applicable welding standards.

Laser beam welding is already recognized within established European and international welding frameworks, including EN ISO 4063 and ISO 15614-11 for welding procedure qualification.

This means the process can be qualified through existing industrial WPS/WPQR pathways — not outside them.

LaserGT supports a controlled qualification pathway for selected use cases.
